7-23-10 The Anniston Post Office holds a special donation drive for kids today. Krayons for Kids is a non-profit drive that is accepting crayons, coloring books, puzzles, and games to donate to Children's Hospital. Krayons for kids was started by Michelle Stone. Stone says her ultimate goal is to go nationwide and have every state address their children's hospitals needs. Her motto is “our goal is as great as their need.” Today's event had free food, free coloring books, and entertainment from the Chick-fil-a cow and Sparky the fire dog. The Anniston Post Office also donated a pack of crayons for every stamp book purchased today. The Krayon for Kids Drive has donated over 100,000 crayons along with 1,500 coloring books to Children's Hospital.
