7-23-10 The city of Anniston will begin part two of its inquiry next week. The inquiry body, which led by city attorney Cleo Thomas, will reconvene Monday afternoon at 3:00. The first meeting, which was held Tuesday, lasted about two hours. It started with Mayor Gene Robinson making his comments and storming out. The city investigation centers on potentially illicit activity by some city employees. Agenda items include items such as on-the-job harassment; the police department’s operating procedures as well as tax administration and business licenses. Witnesses are expected to begin answering questions during Monday’s meeting.
