(07-26-10) The Salvation Army collects all the donated school supplies today at the Quintard Mall from the “Stuff the Bus Campaign.” The Quintard Mall along with The Big 95 and The Salvation Army have been collecting school supplies with help from the public. As Major Darrell Kingsbury of the Salvation Army collects supplies, he tells TV24 the response this year was better than last year. Kingsbury also explains how rewarding it is to be able to go and deliver the supplies to the children who need them. All the donated school supplies will go to local children who might otherwise return to school empty handed.
